We are thrilled to introduce the FLock.io Trainers & Validators Pioneers Program, a new initiative aimed at expanding our decentralized AI training platform by engaging developers, machine learning engineers, and technical members of our growing community. Building upon the tremendous growth in the FLock ecosystem—users have increased by 100x since the first week of testnet, and our Delegator Pioneers Program has recruited over 11,000 delegators (and counting!)—we're now excited to launch Phase 2 of the program.

The Trainers & Validators Pioneers Program commences on November 4th at 16:00 UTC and runs until December 2nd at 16:00 UTC. Over these four weeks, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in AI Model Training and Verification
  • Receive Delegations from the Community and Weekly Staking Rewards
  • Get Featured on Our Stake to Earn Page
  • Compete for a 2000 $FML Prize Pool

How It Works

For Validators

Step 1: Recruitment & Verification

If you're already a Validator on FLock.io, you're automatically enrolled in the program. Continue your validation activities and engage with Delegators to maximize your rewards. For new Validators, refer to our Validator Guide for onboarding as a new Validator. Both new and existing validators are able to win prizes, so don’t worry if you are only joining now!

Step 2: Begin Validating

After you engage in AI model node verification, your node information will automatically be displayed on the Stake to Earn page. Delegators can choose the node with the highest expected return (eAPY) for staking. Each week, the top 10 Validators with the highest $FML delegated to them (ranked by "weekly change" on the right side of the page) will become winners and receive rewards. So it’s up to you to engage with the community to attract more delegations. Happy Validating!

For Training Nodes

Step 1: Recruitment & Verification

Existing Trainers also benefit from automatic enrollment. If you're already a Trainer on FLock.io, you're automatically enrolled in the program. Continue your involvement in training tasks and engage with Delegators to maximize your rewards. For new Training Nodes, refer to our Training Node Guide for onboarding. And just like with Validators, now both new and existing Trainers are able to win prizes.

NOTE: Newly verified Training Nodes are airdropped 10 $FML. Some tasks require 30 $FML for participation so you may need to first participate as a Delegator in order to gain the minimum required amount. You can also reach out in our Discord to request additional $FML so that you can start training right away.

Step 2: Begin Training

Start training AI models on the train.flock.io platform. Your training node will be listed on the Stake to Earn page, increasing visibility to delegators. Delegators can stake on your node based on expected returns and each week, the top Training Nodes with the highest amount of $FML delegated will receive rewards. So time to get to work!

Rewards

Participants benefit from staking rewards and will compete for a share of 2000 $FML in total prizes, with 500 $FML to be distributed weekly.

Rewards will be distributed weekly to both Training Nodes and Validators as follows:

  • 🏆 1st Place: 150 $FML
  • 🥈 2nd Place: 90 $FML
  • 🥉 3rd Place: 50 $FML
  • 🏅 4th to 10th Place: 30 $FML each

We’ve also earmarked additional $FML that will be airdropped weekly for extra engagement and participation.

Rewards will be distributed to your wallet address used for model verification within 24 hours after each weekly evaluation.
